"ACADEMIC DAYS" – XXXII, Monday, October 9, 2017, Conference room and Reading Hall of the Romanian Academy Iaşi Branch were several events were organized during the Iasi Academic Days (over a period of about one month). The eventincluded also the Release of a book "CRISTOFOR SIMIONESCU, AS WE HAVE KNOWN" Monday, 9th of October 2017, event which was organized at the Library of the Romanian Academy Iasi Branch. The book includes thoughts, memories, testimonies about Prof. Cristofor I. Simionescu who was the Director of ICMPP for over 25 years and one of the key actor in the polymer chemistry research in Romania. This book was written by nearly 40 colleagues, friends, collaborators, former students or PhD students from home and abroad. Among the scientific and cultural personalities who sign in this volume are also Prof. Marc. J Abadie the SupraChem ERA CHAIR and Dr. Mariana Pinteala the SupraChem Lab Project Coordinator.
